Battle Net Diablo 2 Download
Hey guys. First of all, sorry if this post does not belong here specifically but I figured this is the most active Diablo subreddit, so I'm gonna try here.
I just downloaded and installed Diablo II + LoD from Blizzard's EU website; I used 2 CD keys (for vanilla game + expansion) that I got from my copy of the game I bought back in the early 2000s (so they're legit and legally obtained), and I installed both games using the 26-characters code generated by Blizzard website after you download the installer.
After I was done, I ran the game as admin and I tried to log into battlenet, and that's when the problems started.
Basically, no matter the realm, I always get long loading times until an error comes up: 'Battle.net is not responding. Please try again in a few minutes'.
Needless to say, I've now been trying to get on the servers for a few hours with no success.

I've been searching around on Google and Blizzard forums and, APPARENTLY, I may have been banned because, by redeeming these old cd keys that I used 10+ years ago, it's like I have 'stolen' someone's copy of the game; obviously, since the copy of the game is mine, this does not make any sense, but that's the only explaination I've managed to come up with as there's no way to prove that you actually own these codes.Now, I've read somewhere that for this 'offence' I won't be able to access the realms for 2 weeks at least. Is this it? Has anyone had the same problem? Do I just have to wait it out?
If some of you had this issue, how did you solve it?
EDIT: I've been looking around on the forums and, apparently, even people who just bought the game from Blizzard Shop (as in, not redeeming old codes) have had the same problem. So I really have no clues... obviously my internet connection works just fine.
