Remember, if you're having trouble with Mech 3 even after using Night Thastus' guide (remember to limit your frames and use DGVooDoo2/dxwnd!), you'll probably need to use CPUgrabber to slow down your CPU whenever you run the game!

I had such a nostalgia for this game, and after so long of wanting to replay it, I finally got in running in Windows 10. There's a few glitches off the bat, but mainly I found that you can't bind keys to fire specific weapon groups! You have to select weapon groups and then fire them which is really stupid. I guess I just didn't realize how much this sucked back in the day, but after playing MW4 and MWO, I just can't bring myself to play like that, it's just too annoying. :P

It was such a long time ago when a good friend and I got the game on an old burnt disk I down loaded it. And we must have spent more than 2 days straight playing it it was a game ahead of it's time that's what gaming is all about

DUDE you were right the AI's are a lot harder than in the original but i think it's maybe better because you learn how to play, configure etc. in MW3 and when you are good at it you can go and play Pirate's Moon cuz it's harder.
H don't download RIP version it's not full game it's just a ripped piece of it.

I have the disk for this, but I need something so that I can play what I copied to my laptop(I copied the addon, but it wont let me play without a disk) so I think I would need the cd key. what would it be labled as in the disk(so I can copy it over)

I've played Mechwarrior 3 many times and love it. But when I play Pirate's Moon, it seems to be much more difficult than the base game. Maybe the devs felt MW3 was too easy so they cranked up the heat?
